Rpowell593Hey, I wrote online a couple weeks ago wanting a prowler real bad, and took some advice and bought my dream car. I had to have it shipped to Florida as opposed to driving it from Colorado, but WOW am I happy. Got a beautiful candy apple red one.

I need to find out how to get in touch with any South Florida (WPB) owners and any events going on around here.

Also - a little advice needed:

#1) Dont' have my plate yet, and want a nice vanity tag, thinking the Florida Panther tag with "KOOL KAT"

#2) I already threw my A/C belt on my first day. LOL - Well this car is too fast for itself. Should I just take it to my local dealer? And is that covered in the 3/36 warranty?

#3) How do I get rid of this CONSTANT GRIN that is now plastered on my face whenever I am driving it? Why'd they ever stop making this car? It's awesome !!!!

Randy

DR PROWLERCongrats on the car....Prowler is most definitely a terrific frown remover!
Jay Harris has a lot of great things planned for your neck of the woods,I'm sure you'll hook up with him!
If you do end up at a dealer, pick one that's Prowler friendly(perhaps get a recommendation from some local owners).....Enjoy....Good luck!

Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course!

George MaxeyTake it to Arrigo and talk with David Weaver. They are good people to work with.

Remember to keep your car STOCK!

Rpowell593George,

That's the Arrigo on Okeechobee? Great - I'll do that. I knew there were some Prowler people here in WPB. Saw a purple one yesterday on Okee.

Randy.

BuckNekkidCongrats Randy. I sold my first one a year ago and missed it so much I went and got another one. I doubt my garage will ever be Prowler free from this point forward

I'm just south of Ocala - maybe we should try to organize all the Florida folks (assuming someone else hasn't done that already) and see how many there are and where they are so we can plan some Florida "events" - in fact, I'll start a new thread doing just that.

Have fun, drive safe, and remember not to pull too close to parking curbs (frontwards or backwards)

Marty UsherCongratulations on your new Prowler. I think Frank Ramos already has the Florida tag KOOLKAT. You may have to try something else, but there are a lot of possibilities!

Welcome Randy!

Take it to the dealer and have a new belt installed. Been there, done that. Make sure they have a belt tension gauge and that they use it. The belt should be "run in" for at least five minutes and then re-tensioned.
